Nazem Dabbagh the representative of Kurdistan regional Government of Iraq in Iran strongly denied of the news of Masoud Barezani’s death on some Medias. According to the report of international group of Fars, KurdPress News Agency quoted by Nazem Dabbagh the representative of KRG strongly denied Masoud Barzani’s death. Kurdpress printed: while today, Tuesday, June 9^th, some Medias of Iraq published news based on Masoud Barzani’s death the head of KRG a result of cerebral stroke, nazem Dabbagh strongly denied the news.

 While talking with Kurdpress News Agency, Nazem Dabbagh declared that the news is fully false and untrue; publishing such false is an attempt on the behalf of Kurds’ enemy and Masoud Barezani is in good and healthy condition.

Nazem Dabbagh in talk with Ana News Agency: Enemy will not Achieve its Goals

 The representative of KRG of Iraq in Iran in talk with Ana News Agency denied the news of Masoud Barzani’s death.

 According to the international group of Ana News Agency, hours ago news resources of Iraq reported the death of Masoud Barzani the head of KRG; which Nazem Dabbagh the representative of KRG of Iraq in Iran relating this said to Ana News Agency: the news is not true and is an absolute falsity. He continued: this lie is the purpose for enemy, and we address them that you will not achieve your goal, causing differences in KR. 

Mustafa Dehghan and Maryam Yousefi from Ana news agency had a comprehensive talk with Mr. Nazem Dabbagh and asked him many questions about different aspects of Iraq and Kurdistan Region, as well as Iran’s and KRG relations, of which the outlines as followed:

Relating the warnings to Mr. Maliki about impending danger Nazem Dabbagh was asked. He replied that our intelligence agency found out moves on behalf of ISIS but he discarded. Our warnings concerned with the unity and cooperation of some Sunnis, the members of the army, Tikrit people, Mosul and Samara with ISIS. In the answer to a question about the meeting KRG heads with ISIS members he said there was no such meeting. Since KRG cannot both to warn central government and to cooperate with ISIS. While at that time some Sunnis groups presented in Kurdistan and KRG was in touch with them. After a while some of them joined ISIS. In his view ISIS was not created both by us or central government, it was formed in the region 100 years ago. He continued that ISIS would soon be vanished. He added that ISIS has occupied Mosul, I predicted ISIS first attack Baghdad and then the Region all. He clarified that the differences between KRG and central government was effective in the Region’s function relating ISIS. Dabbagh added when Haydar-Al-Ebadi came to power as if there has been a new though dominating central government, thus it has provided the possible of more of cooperation of both sides.

The other part of the talk was about the independence of the Region of Iraq. Dabbagh said the Region has always been trying to move according to the constitution, while it has shown his tendency to be independence. It is meant the Region is looking for independence but it will not do it without Central government’s agreement. He said in his opinion Maliki’s coming to power and his resigning was common view of Iran-America. Similarly he added the achievement of agreement will help to increase the security in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.

Concerning the possibility of the Region and Israel’s cooperation he said the region has four borders with four countries, Iraq, Iran, Syria and Turkey. Presently we have relationship with Iran, and in the current conditions of the region we cannot think of political relation with Israel in the future, nor are we willing to make Arabian and Muslim countries enemy with us. He said although Jewish live in the Region, there are no Israelis there.

Another part of talks was about Kubaney. Dabbagh said that Kurds of Kubaney tend to P.K.K, thus Turkish government helped them late. But KRG sent 150 troops there three times. He continued the reconstruction of Kubaney has not started yet but programming to reconstruct it is being carried out.    

Jamejam Press, relating to Al-Ramadi located in Al-Anbar province of Iraq, carried out an interview with representative of KRG of Iraq in Iran as follows:

About the reason of Al-Ramadi’s fall, Dabbagh said to the reporter of Jamejam: the Army of Iraq has not taken necessary actions to confront ISIS; they inspired them power instead. He went on: ISIS has taken an outstanding number of tanks and rocket launchers of army and even taken the command building of Iraq army called Al-Anbar operation in the west of the country under their control. In Dabbagh’s view the existence of vast differences among Iraqi leaders caused them not to realize the danger and not make any attempts to strengthen the unity among themselves. Dabbagh said: this is the fact that each of the group alone thinks of their benefits and is not unified. If these leaders thought of a democrat Iraq, they could prevent ISIS to advance and we would never witness the current events in Iraq.

In response to a question Dabbagh replied that through infiltrating in army, police and people of the region ISIS could widespread its strikes while the first tools of power is necessarily not military. The effect of information, people and the residents’ help, dare I say it, caused this ISIS to advance. Dabbagh, concerning America’s role, said: apparently America by air strikes helps the army. What is important to us is that if ISIS was not supported in Iraq, It could not gain power. He continued Iraq army asked America for help and if the USA is serious and wants to take any action, so can it, regarding its great weapons. Presently the condition of Iraq is severely worrisome.      

Aria News Agency- Nazem Dabbagh the representative of Kurdistan Regional of Iraq in Iran insisted on the preparedness of the army and people to confront with terrorist groups. He added: the triumph of Iraq army over ISIS group in the freed regions including Tikrit was for the participation of all forces and groups of Iraq. Dabbagh continued: people forces and Iraq army have the ability to fight against ISIS. He declared: the role of Shia authorities on the changes in Iraq to create unity and collaboration was effective and successful. 

When Saddam ruling Iraq Ba’athists were on power. There were thoughts of Ba’ath party growing and in Syria also Salafist and Takfirist got united as a special organization; those thoughts of Ba’ath dominated this unity and caused a singularity between terrorists and Syria and called themselves “Islamic State of Iraq and Sham”, namely, ISIS. The representative of Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, describing the reasons and roots of the formation of ISIS terrorists group, considered the coalition against terrorists as a pretext to reenter Iraq. He believes that the USA has experienced three strategies to enter Iraq: the first experience was Persian Gulf War against Saddam, the second was getting out the Nuri Al-Maliki from Iraq and the third was to attack ISIS.

Nazem Omar Dabbagh the representative of KRG of Iraq in Iran in talk with ILNA News Agency reporter, about the hidden goals of ISIS to appear said: ISIS is not something to emerge suddenly but there were factors to support ISIS and there was an atmosphere in which it could grow. In Syria and Iraq this appropriate atmosphere was prepared. Emphasizing that in the history such concerns are obviously mentioned he added as Justice and Development party coming to power in Turkey, it has formed especial closeness between this country with Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Relating bombing ISIS positions by America he said ILNA: it is benefit to America to use air raid rather than disembarking his forces to reduce expenditures since in his view. America public reflections cannot accept their soldiers to be killed in Iraq.

Dabbagh shortened Turkey’s policy change in two cases. The first is to take advantage by letting medicines and altruism aids pass from his country and the second was that through being a member of NATO and accepting some commitments and being asked by the members to make his role against ISIS clear he had to change his policy. In addition he believes that some countries allied with America in fight against ISIS also support this group have vague role. Stating that the coalition and allying to uproot ISIS in the region have to be serious Dabbagh said: to vanish ISIS in the region this group must be destroyed to the core like to cut the financial and human resources and stop supporting it.

In the response to the first question relating to the formation of national unity in Iraq he answered: after having traveled of Mr. Nechirvan Barezani and the accompanying delegation to Baghdad, agreements about the budget, how to sell oil etc. were made. Presently we hope and wait these agreements to be met. The advancement and performance of the agreements make the conditions of Iraq better.

 He also considered Hushiar Zibari’s speeches about Pishmerga forces’ cooperation with Iraq army as an indication of the effects of between agreements and added: when we, Kurds, say Pishmerga forces must be of military and security of Iraq we indeed mean that missions should involve all forces including Pishmerga and they take part in defending Iraq. He also considered the cooperation between Iraq army and Pishmerga pleasant but deemed the development of collaborations in the fields of defending and supporting requires new negotiation.

About the fortune of Syrian Kurds during history Dabbagh said that Kurds was put between two emperors of Ottoman and Abbasside and got divided into four groups after ottoman’s fall. While Syrian Kurds had not the right of citizen, there was no choice to resist and confront with central government. Some of them abandoned their homes migrated to other countries. Therefore, Syrian Kurds have been affected by P.K.K group believed to form a Kurdish government in all Kurdish regions of the Middle East.

In his view, before Ocalan, the leader of P.K.K, captured Syrian Kurds had not that freedom of action. He also believes that Bashar Assad’s rude behavior toward Muslim-Brotherhood and Slafi caused them to be united. The next matter relating to Syria was the foreign interference that was generally made by the regional countries. Thus, it was in such atmosphere that Kurds with the record of fighting could after while grew fairly independent from central government. When the oppositions against Bashar Assad started Kurds decided to be neutral, since they did not know which side would defend their rights. Dabbagh believes Kubani was surrounded through three parts of which by ISIS and one led to Turkey borders, namely, it was like an island in ISIS’s dominion. Turkey stimulated ISIS to attack this town, whereas it is an important point for KRG of Iraq. Infact Kubani is the part of those regions that some Arabian rulers, Ba’ath in especial, wanted to eliminate it from non-Arabians. He said it was due to this resistance that Kubani turned to be the reputation for Kurds. Had it fallen, the secrecy of their resistance would, too.

About the participation of women in the resistance against ISIS Dabbagh said: they for some reasons have had effective role in Kurdish triumph. Firstly there were many of them in the regions where Pishmergas were fighting. Indeed they were in the confluence spot of Kurds and governments. Like Mrs. Hiru Ibrahim, Mr. Jalal Talibani’s wife, always accompany him in the process of resistance. But Kubane was the scene that women were directly fighting, since when inhumanity increase, so does the resistance.

After overpower a large part of Iraq land whose residents are Sunni, speculations about the future of the country and the establishment of Sunni region intensifies.

Meanwhile the positions and attitudes political meetings of Kurdistan region and authorities’ opinions got Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) neighbors after taking the full control of regions under conflict represent Kurds’ views for the changes, expectations and concerns ahead in the political future of Iraq.

Kurds News Agency to analyze the recent changes of Iraq went after Nazem Dabbagh the Representative of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) of Iraq in I.R of Iran and interviewed him.

In response to a question Mr. Dabbagh described the current situation of Iraq, and that was how he introduced those regions including Mosul, a major part of Tekrit and Salaheddin occupied by ISIS. He continued to mention the areas released by security and army forces of Iraq and Pishmergas. ‘Right now (the moment interviewing ongoing) fighting is progressing’ he said.

  He about the loss of security forces’ reaction in Mosul against ISIS terrorist said all their attacks to this town are suspicious and unclear. The forces surpassing 3000 overwhelmed the town he said. It was happened in the situation that nobody saw them. With only the slogan of “Run away, they come”, all people escaped. He added: ‘this attack was in advance planned and collaborated with the security forces of town’. Just within six hours the whole town was occupied by ISIS.

In his view another reason of which town got occupied by ISIS was tribal combination. %99 of the two-million town are Sunni, furthermore the major elements of the army of Ba’ath Iraq are from this town and its tribes. That is why the same as Kurd rise People collaborated with ISIS in Mosul.

In some areas also Pishmergas could take the control of regions from which Iraq army sit rear; and it cover the regions Khanegheyn, Jelola and Hamrin till Zakhu. I can say the borders of the regions stated in Article 140 are presently under the control of the Pishmerga forces.

About being aware of security forces of Iraq of this attack, Kurd Press asked Dabbagh and he also answered the possible attack of ISIS from Syria land to Iraq have already been warned by major authorities of the KRG. Mentioning former warning by some people to Nuri Al-Maliki about some militaries joining Iraq Army he said some of these fellows were defeated, others escaped and the others joined ISIS.
