President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with Iraq’s Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani in Erbil on Thursday evening.

The two leaders engaged in discussions covering a wide range of topics, including the political, security, and economic situation of the country. They also emphasized the significance of maintaining strong relations between Erbil and Baghdad and of bolstering the federal government’s plans and programs aimed at serving the best interests of the country.

Additionally, the meeting focused on the upcoming parliamentary elections and the importance of supporting the Independent High Electoral Commission to ensure free, fair and transparent elections, overcoming the challenges and maintaining peace and stability.
