President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Michele Camerota, the outgoing Italian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, marking the end of his tenure.

During the meeting, the President expressed his appriciation to Mr. Camerota for his efforts in further strengthening the ties between Italy and the Kurdistan Region. He wished him success in his next posting.

In response, Consul General Camerota expressed his gratitude to the President and the institutions of the Kurdistan Region for their support during his time in office. He reaffirmed Italy's commitment to enhancing relations with the Kurdistan Region and promoting greater collaboration moving forward.
