The meeting focused on developing bilateral relations, the planned opening of the Consulate General of Kuwait in Erbil, and political developments in Iraq. Both sides expressed their desire to strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in encouraging more Kuwaiti companies to invest in the Kurdistan Region.
Later, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, held a luncheon in honor of President Barzani.
