Nazem Dabbagh the representative of Kurdistan Region of Iraq in Iran concerning the emergence and being strong of ISIS said: this terrorist group has not been generated for one month or so but it has resulted from an extreme percept within a century. The political and social record of ISIS cell dates back to the early years of World War II.

At that time they appeared and emerged in Islamic lands as Arabian Mujahidin. Later in Afghanistan and Pakistan they changed to Al-Qaeda and Taliban and now supported by the regional Arabian countries their name changed to ISIS. In this way the more violence ideology and more Salafist percept of Islam substituted Al-Qaeda thoughts. All these ideologies have been injected to a great part of their fans by the regional country.

About the duration of ISIS’s survival Dabbagh said they have come to stay. Everybody witnessed that some experts’ analyses claiming ISIS would present for just a couple of months and then soon be vanished were incorrect. Concerning the region of Kubanie Dabbagh added that the region does matter to ISIS for by adding Kubanie to their possessions they join the regions of Iraq and Syria under their control.

In addition their Logistic and economical will increase. Relation to Turkey’s role to fail to react them he criticized. He said it was expected that Turkey gave this chance to Kurds and Pishmerga to defend their land. But in addition to support ISIS spiritually and financially it in practice took more steps to block Kurdish forces. Concerning showing the images of Kubanian women to defend their city Dabbagh said: this case is not advert at all, although the number of men are great, there are lots of women as well. At last Dabbagh said soon Pishmerga accompanied by Iran will start a great operation to cripple ISIS in Iraq.

Iran press, in the thick of Iraq struggles, held a meeting to decode ideological background of Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) and to map the movements of this extremist cell. Masood Asadollahi the experts and knowledgeable in Arab world affairs, Hojatollah Judaki the researcher and expert in Middle East and Islam world affairs and Nazem Dabbagh the representative of KRG of Iraq in Tehran to accept Iran’s invitation, proceeded with the matter of ISIS.

In this meeting Nazem Dabbagh concerning the time when the signs of takfiri (unchurching) appeared in Iraq said this case had got to be considered in detail. In his view the emergence of takfiri idea was the results of a process which was managed by the west.  For while the west took advantage the takfiri groups to stand against the communism influence in the region. One instance was the groups like Al-Qaeda.

Even Saddam at a moment tended Islamism and printed the word ‘Allaho Akbar’ (Great God) on the flag of Iraq. Therefore, after September 11th, they felt the danger. That was why they drew decision to react it. When the crisis began in Syria, several groups unified and formed free army of Syria while some of them were takfiris. The government s like Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar supported them with the aim of helping Syria nation. Presently 13 groups of Ba’ath under different titles have joined ISIS. Dabbagh in a part of his phrases mentioned the Saudi Arabia role to create a group called tribal revolutionary council to charge the actions of ISIS in Mosul, Tikrit and Samarra with this group.

About the correctness of a scenario concerning Kurds supporting the move weakening Mr. Maliki he was asked. He responded there were two concerns causing the struggles between Maliki and the KRG. One was the lands which accordance with article 140 has not assigned to the Region, and the other was Mr. Maliki policies which are more hegemonic than democratic. He continued that before ISIS transferring to Mosul we warned Mr.

Barezani twice about the suspicious moves in Mosul, but he did not notice. We entered Kirkuk when Iraq Army fell. Mr. Dabbagh said to exit the current crisis the conditions of the establishment of a democratic government with the participation of all groups have to be made. In present situation Iraq are divided into three parts Shia, Sunni and Kurds. Whether we should tend to con-federalism, namely, three independent allied governments with their own authorities, or does to federalism.

In a response to a question Nazem Dabbagh said the KRG which was occupied by Pishmerga was abandoned by Iraq Army; for preventing ISIS to flow this region Kurds entered. Thus, there was no intention to invade or to take points. He added that it is Iran’s gain to have a Kurdish and Shia neigbour on the west. He also mentioned the aids and cooperation of Iran nation during Royal era and Islamic Republic.

To complete a participant’s phrases Dabbagh said that the president of KRG appreciated the necessity of the unification with Shia. They may enter the oil-rich regions on the north of Iraq or be employed by Turkey to react P.K.K. Thus the leadership of the Region realizes the necessity of unification with Shia. This unification make guarantee the maintenance of Iraq unity. They say they are concerned about Nuri Al-Maliki policies but Shia.

Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq (KRG.org) – Today marks the 13th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. These attacks targeted innocent civilians and shocked the world, and the world responded with widespread condemnation and action. The United States reacted by showing its might and the resolve of its proud nation.

The US-led international war against Al-Qaeda targeted terrorists wherever they were, ultimately resulting in the capture and death of many of the organisation’s leaders, including Osama Bin Laden.

Today, a group with the same ideology that spawned Al-Qaeda, employing extreme and barbaric tactics, is targeting the people of Syria, Iraq and the entire region, as well as attempting to disrupt the peace and stability of Kurdistan. Whereas Al-Qaeda hid in caves and was based underground, members of the so-called Islamic State, which is neither Islamic nor a State, walk freely in cities inside Iraq and Syria, causing mayhem, terrorising people and threatening civilians and states alike.

On this occasion, I would like to praise President Barack Obama for the powerful speech he delivered yesterday in which he explicitly stated that with the help of its allies, the United States will destroy this terrorist group. The Kurdistan Region attaches great importance to its friendship and partnership with the United States. After the September 11th attacks and throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom, the people and the government of the Kurdistan Region have stood firmly and proudly with our American allies. We extend the same hand of friendship today in this new campaign to eradicate a serious threat to regional and international security.

We have made clear our intention to work with the United States to bring about a democratic and federal Iraq as outlined by the Iraqi Constitution. At the same time, we reaffirm our commitment to the United States to combat the scourge of terrorism. Today we are proud to be fighting terrorism on the front lines, on behalf of the world, and we stand ready to continue this fight for the sake of peace and stability.

We once again express our condolences to the families of those killed in the heinous acts of September 11th, and to those who have lost their lives fighting for freedom and democracy – Iraqi, Kurdish, American, British, or of any other nationality. We pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their sons and daughters so that others may enjoy better, safer lives.

We reassure the American people that just as the United States has stood with us during our most difficult times, we will stand with you in the global fight against the culture of barbarism, ignorance, and intolerance that defines terrorism.
