Salahaddin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRP.org) - In a meeting with a number of Iraqi and Arab journalists in Salahaddin today, President Barzani reaffirmed Kurdistan Region’s position towards the current debate about new legislation for the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections by stating that the Region believes a single electoral district for the whole country would better serve the principles of democracy and fairness in Iraq.

Abu Dhabi, UAE (KRP.org)- Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. 

Kuwait city, Kuwait (KRP.org)- After arriving in Kuwait today, Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani met with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in Kuwait City.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani kicked off the nearly $3 billion “Downtown Erbil” project on Sunday, calling the venture that is estimated to create 35,000 jobs and transform the face of the Kurdish capital, “a milestone for the Kurdistan Region.”

London, UK (KRG.org) - A Kurdistani trade delegation, led by Minister Falah Mustafa, heard about the potential for investment in the UK at a conference hosted by UKTI, Britain's trade ministry.

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq - (KRG.org) – Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, Erdal Trhulj, visited the Kurdistan Region for two days to discuss ways in which to build relations between both sides, as well as to attend the Project Iraq 2013 conference in which companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina are represented.

Erbil, Kurdistan – Iraq (DFR.krg.org) – Minister Falah Mustafa, the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, welcomed today the Bosnia and Herzegovina Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry,Erdal Trhulj and an accompanying delegation. The meeting was also attended by Siham Jabali, the Assistant Head of the DFR.
